Who should apply?

High school graduates, university students and professional people who would like to join an educational social enterprise should apply to become a tutor. You will become part of a dynamic team dedicated to helping students from diverse backgrounds reach their potential. 

What do I need to apply? 

  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent from your State
  • A secure internet connection for online tutoring
  • At least one hour a week that you can regularly devote to a student in need
  • A Band 5 or 6 in a related subject for tutoring Years 11 and/or 12

Consideration will also be given to anyone who has prior tutoring experience or expertise in one of our priority areas (English, Mathematics and Sciences).

How to apply?

Please complete this application form. Once your application has been completed you will be required to attend an on line interview with one of our team. If successful, we will send you instructions for how to create your profile and allocate your availability in our secure learning management systems. Interested students or parents/carers will then select you as their tutor and benefit from your knowledge and expertise. ​

How many hours am I required to tutor every week?

We don’t require our tutors to work certain hours per week. You’ve the flexibility to allocate and manage your availability using our secure tutoring management system.

How can I set up my profile

After signing up on our website as a tutor, you have the ability to add your personal and education details, availability, subjects you can teach in our tutoring management system. This will then create a tutor profile for you that is available for our existing and new students to view.


What is your minimum salary rate?

We pay different salary rates per hour depending on our tutors’ qualifications, subject levels, and whether they teach in person or virtually.

However, all our hourly rates exceed the minimum casual rate set by the Fair Work Commission.

Can I tutor online and/or in person?

Yes, you can choose to tutor through either or both mode by placing it in your tutoring profile.

What other supporting documents am I required to provide?

Please check our tutor application form that has indicated all documents you’re required to provide. You can also attach any other supporting documents such as achievement certificates to help us assess your application.

What is the application process like?

After receiving your application and required supporting documents, we’ll organise a brief interview with you. If successful, you’ll then get an official offer from us that has information about how to create your tutor profile using our tutoring management system.

Can I tutor multiple subjects?

Yes, our tutors have the flexibility to share and manage subject(s) they can teach on their tutor profile.

How will I get paid as a tutor?

You will be paid directly to your bank account after each completed tutoring session.

Will parents be attending the tutoring sessions?

We don’t require parents to be attending the tutoring sessions. However, if they’re interested or have time, you can negotiate this in your first session.
